ok so my son will nurse for maybe 5-10mins then unlatch and just start fussing instead of eating…

I know it sounds mean but let him fuss. If he unlatches, let him. Go through the motions like normal - burp him, etc. Once he gets hungry enough he will latch back on and continue eating.

And don't worry if you don't think he's eating enough. He won't let himself get too hungry and will realize that's how he gets full. You can also talk to your pediatrician and see if they know anything else to try.

have you tried different feeding positions?
