I have been looking in to it and I have found out that the belly is fine .
I do that as well but I was un sure if it works the same @mommyofone
My son does all the time. I started doing tummy time on my belly, and he's been a lot happier with it.

Doing tummy time with my little man. He loves being on his tummy while his Momma massages his back. He's kicking his legs back and scooting up like he wants to crawl already.
