when the doctors draw your blood all 9 tubes what all are they testing for?

to make sure you are okay, testing see if baby may end up with any type or syndrome, to make sure your blood type is okay there's a certain one that can cause baby to struggle, drugs, any possible std, diabetes, basically anything. they do it to make sure everything is sailing smoothly

oh they test for HIV std herpes cancer etc?

if I remember right with me it was pretty much all drugs known to man lol and hiv/aids if you agree to be tested for that and blood count.

they didn't ask me if I wanted to be tested for anything and y do they have to get your permission tho?

I'm not sure why they need permission. But I agreed to be tested 3 times throughout my pregnancy, that was their waiver I signed off on.

in pregnancy you don't get a choice if they can draw blood or not, unless for specific reasons you cannot have blood drawn which I wouldn't really know of. but if you have sexually transmitted diseases and not aware of it. some of those things can be passed down to baby by a vaginal birth or by it happening in the process of pregnancy. they have to literally make sure you are okay through your entire pregnancy for the saftey of not just you. but the baby.

you'd be surprised what can be found going on with you, but drawing blood and labs being done on it.

yeah they took a lot of blood from me they said I was anemia so I'm taking iron pills the whole pregnancy, but they said I had no std my baby's dad wants to get check out but because I told him I was clean and had nothing he feels he doesn't need to be checked for anything he claims I'm the test but I wasn't sure if they tested me for everything tho so I told him to still get checked

yeah because you're pregnant. they find everything out. through urine and through blood.
