The day my life changed forever. This is the day my twins finally came home from the NICU. They were 3 weeks old, born at 33 weeks gestation and weighed a little over 3 pounds each. Ahmeir and Nyla, my double trouble. My sour patch girls lol
@mommyof4divas, yesss, I'm glad their boys but I still want to try for that girl later. I can just imagine the adventure I'm about to have with these boys. Lol.
@mizg1989, Thanks and you are so lucky to be having twin boys. I have 4 daughters now and I'm 26. I think that trying for a boy is just too much because after having the twins amd now my recent baby is a girl, I doubt there's a baby boy in my future. Not because I don't want to try again, but because in 4-5 years from now I'll be in my early 30's and by then I may not want to even think about getting pregnant again
Oh ok.... I hope my babies do that well. Surprisingly I was on BP pills before pregnancy but right now I don't have an issue. Your babies were gorgeous though.
@mizg1989, No I had a bad case of preeclamsia. My doctor admitted me into the hospital when I was 32 weeks to try and bring my pressure down as well as try to keep them in till I was 35 weeks but within 4 days I wasn't getting any better so I had a scheduled induction at 33 weeks. Twin A was 3 lbs 14 ounces and twin B was 3 lbs 17 ounces, born 7 minutes apart. They were very healthy and doing a lot for their age and size but they stayed in the nicu to gain weight and to learn to suckle. I didn't get to hold or feed them off my breast for 3 weeks, but it was worth the wait.
Aw they are so precious. Did you go into preterm or were they induced? I'm 31 weeks and last week my babies were 3lbs 2 oz. and 3lbs 4 oz. and I am so nervous they could come any minute.
