Ok so my baby girl will be 4 Months old on Monday the 24th , she's drinking Similac Advance she's only formula fed , She's always had problems with this formula but her doctor doesn't want to switch her to another kind until she figures out what the. problem is , she's been on Similac Sensitive as well but that didn't do her any different , I was wondering maybe trying another brand like Enfamil Infant Formula but taking it upon myself to do so just to see if does her any better , Should I proceed ??? or continue to wait on her doctor ???
thanks for all your help ladies I felt unsure if I should switch her on my own at first but now I'm feeling pretty confident thanks for all the advice @andrrea @spuermommy @bonnieemommy
Mothers know best, my daughters Doctor switched her like 5 times. She has milk problems and of course she does great with one of the most expensive ones, Neutramigen. If she has problems with bowel movements or is colic id recommend it, my daughter is doing great on it!
I had the same problem with my little guy Similac advance Similac sensitive Similac soy this didn't work when to Enfamil Enfamil sensitive Enfamil soy Enfamil AR all those didn't work for my little guy. So I ask my cousin what formula she gave her baby she told me to go Costco there formula was much better well I try it my little one dose not spit up or throw up. I wish you good luck
I would go for it! my daughter was on the advance and the sensitive with no luck. you might try soy or the similac total comfort. I know they work for a lot of babies with feeding issues including my own little one
ok I think I'm gonna just go ahead & switch I feel so much better now ... thanks ladies 😊😊 @mommysweigart @twinmamma2015
I had the same problem! we used Similac Advanced, sensitivie, gentle and we just now switched to Similac Soy and it seems to be working so much better for my lil guys!
All the iron is what hurts babies!! Keep that in mind, that's why they get so constipated.
