Hi ladies.i currently have a dilemma and wouls like some advice :)
it isnt reallllly pregnancy related. but ill go on..
my landlord is wanting me out and my daughter out on the 20th March.
im currently 33 weeks pregnant and due on the 10th March. this is because he doesnt want to fix things in his property properly and would rather kick us out and sort it himself. (damp and mould)
i've found a couple of places where i could move to but about 15 minutes away from my hometown. my mother would complain im too far away.
so do i leave it till im even closer to due date and see if anywhere pops up in my hometown, or move to this potential house ive fallen in love with?:/
i dont know if im rushing, but i dont fancy a full house move when im due to have baby you know? meh :/
@beccastirlingx, exactly. my worst nightmare is moving house when i'm 37+ weeks pregnant. then theres unpacking and getting everythimg ready for when babys here! if i could stay in my hometown i would. but nowhere is really available for me right now. and leaving it till the last minute will cause unneeded stress. xx
I really don't think 15 minutes is that much! Like atall, time to start thinking about you and your babies! If that's what's best for you then go for it! Staying right up till your about to give birth wouldn't be ideal! Your mum surely can't expect you to move a whole house heavily pregnant! @darlingkellie x
@beccastirlingx, yeah i didnt think it would be too far away! its a gorgeous house too. very modern, big back garden, en suite in master bedroom. and the hospital is round the corner haha! which will be ideal :P i just know my mum will complain theres too much distance. i dont even see her during the week anyway. :/ x
I would move now rather than later.. Also file a report to environmental health (through your local council) regarding your current landlord.. 15 minutes isn't really that far away tbh.. I'm sure she'd rather you 15 mins away instead of homeless? I moved house with a 3 month old and it was very awkward.. You've got another child as well so you'll have to work around your daughter and this baby too and directing the removals guys as to where everything needs going.. It's a tricky situation but you'll be better off especially if there's damp xx
