Vent: If it's not medically necessary for mother or babies safety for an early delivery, before 37 weeks, STOP trying to make your baby come early!!! All you are doing is setting yourself up for is long term health effects for your child, a longer unnecessary hospital stay, and in some cases death. I understand the end of pregnancy is miserable but stop being selfish!! Pregnancy is 40 weeks for a reason, your body KNOWS how to go into labor, and when babies lungs are ready is when your body will go into labor. Get your crap together already. :/

I'm not trying to go into labor early, but my dr said it could happen any day now and I should be ready and I am totally okay if my baby wants to come a little early.

@rainbowbaby, Going naturally is one thing. But hoping and praying your doctor will let you be induced the next week when you're only 32-35 weeks along and measuring big is a tad bit selfish. I understand being miserably huge pregnant, but you have to think of babies well-being first and not be wishing for an induction so early.

I've ALWAYS measured 4-7 weeks ahead of my due date and get insanely large. I feel like I'm dying by the end but I'm not going to evict my child until they're ready on their own.

@ilyric, I totally agree. Baby's need to come out when there ready. Induction is just asking for problems. But I understand hoping to have my baby here sooner rather than later.

@rainbowbaby, That's just a natural mom thing! lol Luckily all my babies have arrived at 38 weeks or before on their own. My youngest daughter being 34 weeks due to my water rupturing at 31 weeks due to infection, I was still on bed rest until I was 34 weeks in the hospital until the Dr took her to keep her from getting infections. NICU is not a fun place 3 hrs from home.
