To all first time moms, not shitting you this is the most painful thing ever! It's never gonna end even worse knowing you can't eat and your husband gets steak :(

I'm gonna be honest...I had people sneak me food when I had my son..Even though I got an epidural I was so hungry Lol...so I ate
They put a block on so I can't order food. It's only been 5 hours of labor and I'm beyond hungry, and have never hurt so bad I just want a hot tub and all the food in the world.
If you didn't get an epidural don't let them tell you, you can't eat. You are doing probably the hardest physical activity you'll ever do in your life, eating and drinking is important.
there was actually a new study put out by some big pregnancy things that it's actually a LOT healthier and safer for laboring mothers to have at least a light meal during labor to keep their strength up...
my first I was in active labor for 12 hours from 6pm to 6am. I was starving by the end of it!
They say you should be able to. something light but a lot of Dr's don't allow it cuz it could complicate things. Esp if you end up needing a c section.
