I read that these next 3 weeks is when your baby is suppose to be the most active. Well my son is already pretty active but the last 2 days he hasn't been kicking or even moving around half as much as usual. Should I be concerned?
@mommy.aguon, he may be scared also.. With my first his dad pulled away big time and now barely sees him but his dad has other issues.. I don't think he was ready for a baby because now he has a 18 month old who he adores as my son is pushed to the side but whatever his step dad is amazing. I think my husband now would be really scared if he didn't raise my son from the age of 2. I know my husband is scared about things, he even makes me ask the ob questions for him because he's too scared. He may be scared of losing another baby. When I needed my husband the most, the first few kicks and movements and break downs he didn't want to be part of it. Now he laughs when Parker kicks his face when he's talking to him. I involved him more with the nursery and buying things. He went organic crazy!!! You will always have us here dear.
I hope so. This baby is sure his twin. There ultrasounds are identical. I figured when I give birth he will come around. It just sucks that I want to share every little thing with him since this our first baby. It feels like the closer it gets to birth the more he is pulling away. @andgee24 @sparnell
I know dear... I had 2 also. He will come around with time... Once he sees that precious baby.
It just sucks to be the one to be excited and want to share kicking moments with your SO and they tell you no or just shrug it off like it's not exciting. After two miscarriages you'd think he would just be happy that our child is healthy and we've lasted this long with no complications. @sparnell
Usually it's the other way around they always wanna boy more then a girl .
My boyfriend wanted a boy but always told me before we knew the gender that it was girl , and when we found out the gender together and they told us it was a girl the look on is face was priceless he was really happy . This is our first baby so he likes to talk to her and rub my belly but sometimes I have to tell him to do it lol. @mommy.aguon I'm more then sure he will come around maybe he's in shock that he's having his first boy and doesn't know how to react yet.
@mommy.aguon, sadly my husband and I wanted a girl so bad. I cried when we pulled the gender out of the envelope because we did a gender reveal between the 2 of us in the park. My husband took a few weeks to come around. He stopped talking to my belly and rubbing it. Once he knew for sure it was a boy because we found out at 15 weeks and our ob said there's a chance the tech could be wrong so my husband got his hopes up but once our ob said no he's all boy my husband was happy. He's been all into it. He now talks to my belly and wants to put lotion on it and feel Parker kick. But it did take him some time. Now Parker responds to daddy. This is his first baby and my son was 2 when he came around.
I bet. My boyfriend really wanted a girl. He's happy we have a healthy boy but he still wanted a girl. Ever since we found out the gender he doesn't do a lot of belly interaction like he did before. But it's okay. I know once our sons here he will come around. @andgee24
Yes she is and he's loving it lol @mommy.aguon Aww lol he should of yelled at your belly with you !
Look at her already a daddy's girl lol @andgee24 my boyfriend just told me I was a weirdo for yelling at my belly.
Lol I was doing the same thing and so was my boyfriend she didn't move for me but when he told her to move she gave us a kick @mommy.aguon
I kept yelling at my belly saying "this is your mother you better listen to me and move your little butt so I know you're okay" @andgee24
It's been the same with me yesterday... my baby is usually really active during the morning and day but yesterday she didn't really move at all and I just wanted to cry. @mommy.aguon
@mommy.aguon, they do tend to sleep more at that stage too. Don't worry mommy 😊
It just feels weird to not have him moving all the time like usual. @ryleighsmom651
Thank you. I really like how kind and caring everyone is on this app. I really hope he comes around. I mean he's young but we've been together a decent amount of time and he took an extra job when he found out we were pregnant so would always know we were safe and had enough to support ourselves and the baby. @sparnell
