im 38 weeks pregnant. I'm having some serious lower back pain. Like a menstral cramp but in the back. Ive been walking, sitting, rocking my hips. The pain is constant but gets worse in waves that come and go. please help me!!!!!! anyone knows what this is?

@kitkat1015, I haven't slept all night cause it hurt and its getting worst. I've tried a bath. didn't work. I called LD and they just said they won't know till I come in.
yes you can experience it without the contractions. my driend woke up in the middle of the night and went in because of it and they told her contractions were five minutes apart and she felt nothing except her back. so if the pain is coming and going try to time it. if its just staying there call LD and see what they say. they might just advise you to rest. which a nice warm bath will definitely help. helped relieve my pain tremendously.

yup could be back labor. some people experience it without the contractions. so time the pain. I had it with my first with every contraction. not pleasant. a warm bath and if anyone could massage it that'll help relieve the pain
Def labor! contractions feel like menstrual cramps... sounds like you got back labor
@carrie_amber_23, its hurts... I have an appointment in an hour so I wanted to wait if anything. I just don't want to go in and they say its nothing.
oh goodness definitely go in. I mean it could be as simple as the baby pressing on a nerve in your back but its better to check.
