I wanted some mommy advice so i have a 3wk old nd i was wondering if it would b ok to let her sleep on her stomach as too she seems to b more peaceful then on her back as to she wakes her self up because she moves her hands alot. But me as a new mom worry she may suffocate even though she hasnt given me any signs she would from the couple times during the day ive let her sleep on her stomach. What do u guys think

My baby slept on his stomach for like a week but my bf didn't like it so now he sleeps on his side. I think babies sleeps more on stomach than anything else.

What I do with my daughter is I lay her on her boppy pillow on her side and she can't roll and she sleeps just fine.

if do u choose to do that just make sure where ever she's sleeping has no loose blankets or any soft objects near her. make sure its clear and tight (no wrinkles) and she should be fine. but if u want try swaddling her up nice and tight she so she's cozy and she should sleep just and good on her back

I would wait until she has good control over her neck. My son sleeps a lot better on his stomach then on his back he's a lot more comfortable that way. Keep doing tummy time with her and in no time she'll have that neck control down to where you'd probably feel more safe with her on her stomach. I know I did😊

I had to go to a 2 hour long SIDS seminar once. So I'm paranoid about everything and plan on sticking to all the guidelines with my baby. They say them waking themselves up by their arms moving is a good thing. It's good for babies to sleep lightly at first. They never get into too deep of a sleep that they don't wake up out of it. But with that being said, you are the mom. You will always know what's best. Plenty of babies sleep on their tummies with no issue at all.
