Does anyone have a two yr old? my nephew is 2 and he has to get developmental testing done. He only says mama dada hat and truck and he saw my baby and said beebee but anyway my sister doesn't work with him like she should. I think he'd be better if she did. But he's 2, can hardly talk, doesn't listen, makes noises when he's trying to communicate like he'll point at something and go eehhhhhh she's having a hard time potty training him. I'm mean my friends son didn't talk all the way till he was about 4 but I just wanna know when ur boys started doin things. I don't know if he's behind or we're just thinking he is

I think it really depends on how much the child is worked with. I talk to my 2 year old daughter all the time and try to help her sound things out. The only thing I'm really struggling with is the potty training thing :/

apparently my brother refused to talk until I started talking! (we are about 2 years apart.) he would use "sign language" as a form of talking. I heard it takes a little longer for boys to start talking than girls.

ugh. I'm glad he's getting tested, I just really with my sister would work with him more. She plays on her phone while he plays with his toys -_- like helloooo but we all read to him and try teaching him things when we see him. I want him to go back into daycare so he can interact with other kids

my youngest brother didn't start talking good until he was 4 but he had rsv when he was 2 months old which attacks the lungs and vocal cords. he was smart, he just couldn't talk much. they thought he was autistic but he tested negative.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

My son is 2 years old... 2 years and 2 months to be exact. He doesn't talk. Maybe about 5 words. I need advice. We talk to him normally. Read to him. Try to help him with basic words. He makes noises like he thinks he's talking. I feel like a failure. Family does nothing but question. "When are you going to talk boy" and they get annoyed with his mumbling. Advice please. We probably will be seeking speech therapy as soon as covid bans are lifted. I absolutely HATE when people bring him his talking or question it.

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
