Help!

So we started our 19 month old on a new schedule to break him of us rocking him to sleep every night and we have been having issues ever since.

We eat dinner at 7 then he has a bath then can play til about 7:45 then we make him clean up his toys and lay down and watch a cartoon movie til he falls asleep. But he has been waking up about an hour after we put him down so we have to lay him back down and he falls right back to sleep then he wakes up again at 5am so we have to get up and lay him back down then he wakes up again at like 7:30 for the day. His nap hasn't changed so idk why he is waking up.

Anyone have any ideas??

yea that might help but then when he wakes it will be dark maybe some soft music to play all night

yea it might.. have you heard of the night lights that are set on a timer?? @junemomma2

@qamk, we were thinking of a night light cuz maybe he is scared but we don't want him to think its okay to be up because it's light. We always used the dark as his sleep queue even with a nap. Do you think it would keep him up?

But it's not much of a change we would just cuddle him while watching a movie until he fell asleep and now we make him clean up his toys and make him lay on the couch next to us.

have you tried a night light or maybe even some soft playing music
