@caseysmommy definitely, he only woke up once to eat at night after that. he goes to bed at 8 & would wake up around 5 to eat.

Never. There's no nutritional value and putting it in a bottle is a choking hazard.

I also started at 2 months. @caseysmommy Just keep in mind when asking on here....you have people who dont think alike. My dr was fine with it & my son never had a problem.

I see different my son and daughter was 4 lbs 12 oz one was 5 weeks early then other one 6 weeks and I believe the cereal and baby food helped them grow and put on weight

@caseysmommy yep! & ignore what some people say.. there is no choking hazard! lol if we went off of that logic, then everything a baby is fed is a potential "choking hazard" 😂😂😂 lmfao

And I dont say that to be disrespectful but I got told my dr was bad and I didnt care about the safety of my child when I said I started at 2 months by another mom on here.

Honesly my doctor told me to do it lol. Si dont see how it can be harmful. I was just askimg when you guys personly started it

Definitely didn't mean it to be disrespectful. Just throwing what I've researched and been told out there. ❤️ sorry if it came across that way.

There is a choking hazard, but as long as you follow the mixing directions then it's very little hazard.

Also, it does have nutrients in it, that's why doctors tell mothers to give it if their babies are too thin or what not, to gain weight. I'm not meaning this comment to sound rude at all, just stating my opinon. Here's the nutrition facts:

I wouldn't give it to a baby under 4 months though unless your pediatrician said to.

I had to give it to my baby at like a month and a half but that's because she was under weight

my son's pedi told me to start him at 2 months old. my son is now 7.5 months old, & perfectly fine! I started feeding him baby food at 3.5 months. Juice at 6 weeks old. He's almost totally weaned off the bottle now & eats table food & baby food. I guess every baby is different, but what I've done with my son has worked wonderfully! 😉😉

my baby weighted 6 pounds 3oz when she was born and when she went back like at month or 2 month she was only 8pounds even. now she almost 10months and fine and eating table food and only takes 2-3bottles of formula a day and drinks juice

when my baby was 1month I gave it to her but she was only getting a pinch of it, to help her sleep their the time

lol yea, what I did was put it in small container, and I would pinch out of that

@caseysmommy, I loved it lol He slept longer. I would only give it to him for his last bottle at night. I would bathe him & make him a warm bottle with cereal around 8 or 9 and he would sleep until 6am sometimes 9

I didn't put rice ceral in my son's bottle... is how my son's formula is its already got rice ceral in it and that makes it a lot easier.
