Had my 32 weeks check up today. Definitely some unexpected topics & blood work!...Has or does anyone have pre-eclampcia? I am being tested for it due to swelling in my ankles & feet and I guess my face is more "puffy" than normal. What should I expect if the results come back positive? My doctor did say, if it benefits the baby more outside the womb, than inside, she will take the baby early. I also had to have blood work done to check my gall bladder. She thinks that may be the reason to my stomach being in so much pain with certain foods. My doctor also told me that I could have the baby in 3 weeks, if I don't and I go 6 more weeks, then we will talk about the next step/inducing me. She didn't tell me why though. Has anyone heard this from their doctor? In 3 weeks, I would only be 35 weeks. My doctor didn't seemed too concerned when she said it? Like my baby is grown enough and being born in 3 weeks wouldn't harm her?

She's not making me have the baby if it's negative. It was two different conversations, and she said she could come in 3 weeks?

If it comes back negative I don't think she will make you have the baby. But if she does ask why and if she doesn't have a medical reason don't do it.

But if the results come back negative, why could I still deliver in 3 weeks? My doctor kind of caught me off guard with that part, so I didn't think of questioning in. @tater4414

If you have preclamsia it's safer for the baby if she is out rather than in and it keeps you from getting sepsis.

Is it just my docs?

Idk why, but every time I go to the doctor they just check my blood pressure, weight, urine, baby's heartbeat, and send me on my way!

My doctors don't do anything else either... However I saw someone different last week and she checked
That's all my dr does. I just figured it's because all is going well. I know she
Same here too! Except she also measures my belly. It's such a waste of time to go
