I know exactly how you feel love! Before I got a positive pregnancy test BF told his mom and she already started planning our shower. They have people from all over the world already buying tickets and a venue set. Lmao.. I'm only 6 weeks! Count it as a blessing though. People love you and they love that beauty inside of you😊

im 20 weeks my shower is in 2 months. my mother in law has already invited 104 people. and thats not even my friends or family!

@jesjeslovesyou, Wow, I couldnt imagine my future MIL being that excited! She still talks about "when we break up, what are you gonna do about the car/apartment/cats/TV/otherrandomthing!" lol
but anyway, just try and focus on how many people want to help you and the baby. of course, if the planner is inviting anyone who makes you really uncomfortable, put your foot down.

I would just throw my own shower then. it is about you and your baby. you invite who you want. don't let anyone tell you other wise. why would they want to make you unhappy for your shower? that's just not right. this is a great time of your life and you should be able to enjoy every part of it.

@jesjeslovesyou, It hurt at first but now I just smile bigger and keep planning for our future. She's just a nasty person - when he first moved out of the house with her, she flat out told him he would fail and coming running back. Now she's constantly asking to borrow money from us, then guilt tripping him when he says he can't (we have money saved, but not much, definitely not enough to share just because). I just plan on limiting her exposure to her grandchildren whenever they come along.

Exactly! @lunarkittens my hope is to raise a child that doesn't need therapy, lol. First step is limiting all negativity from my child. She sounds like such a nasty person. I hope she changes. You sound like a sweetheart and don't deserve such hate.
