I've been noticing some braxton hicks, quite a few over the past hour or so...no pain, but my stomach keeps getting tight. I'm on the verge of calling my doctor, but I'm not sure if I'm overreacting. What would you ladies do? I'll be 25 weeks in a few days
@emily18234, @momof1.5 yes its all very new and pretty scary lol! I'll take your advice and try to rest and drink water, thanks so much! Every new thing scares me but I'm trying not to overreact so much
They can be a sign that you need to relax a bit. Drink and lay down or sit down and kick your feet up when you can. Since your going to work just drink water, take it easy, and kick your feet up in your break. Despite resting I got them frequently through my last pregnancy.
the definition of Braxton hicks are your stomach tightening, so it's completely normal
don't be, trust me. I know they're concerning the first time, but they become a way of life.
@emily18234, i've actually gotta be at work soon, on my feet for a few hours which I'm a little concerned about
Braxton hicks are normal. just drink lots of water. if your up and active lay down, if you're sitting down, get up and walk around

Ok I know I've done a few of these but my friend posted this on FB and we're getting some hilarious results. This was my last text:

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

Taking a few extra minutes this morning enjoying this baby boy I'm growing 💙 (and my coffee!) #babyLandon #15and4
Going for my second membrane sweep in a few hours!!! Wish me luck...I'm so desperate to have this baby 😥
Lol I know what you mean. I had a few trips to the emergency room with my first baby. I'm gonna try to play it cool this time around lol. @nervousmommy
