I've been induced twice but I wasn't full term. I didn't find it any more painful then with my not induced child but it did take a little longer. I also had to have a Foley bulb once to help get things started and I found that super painful. The only negative thing with pitocin is that you can't eat or really even drink with it.

Well let's hope our babies don't decide to be stubborn lol @shelbyjo

well good luck girl! I think you are progressing enough on your own so you wouldn't take too long if you did get induced :)

That's what I'm worried about and hoping I can go through labor without needing to be induced!

I'm dilated 2cm and I'm already 80% effaced and my baby's head is so low I can hardly stand it. I was thinking I would get induced next week if she doesn't come on her own by then. My doctor got my hopes up and told me she thought she'd be here by now so I'm getting a little discouraged @wrd2016

I was 40 weeks and I'm not sure on how dilated and effaced, sorry it's been 7 years now! I'm also getting induced with this baby.

That's what my mom was saying. Said it makes the contractions 10 times worse @shelbyjo

My mom had to be induced even though she had a quick labor she said the pitocin is killer bc since it speeds up labor it brings on the contractions stronger and your body doesn't get Time to adjust.

everyone is different, but I've been told that it makes labor longer sometimes and the contractions more painful I'm supposed to be induced too and I'm hoping I dialate a little on my own before hand

When I was induced I was only in labor for 6 hours and pushed maybe 3-4 times. I feel like I breezed right through it.

For me it was way worse😬 may not be same for everyone though.
