My daughter kept me up from 1AM till 6AM😫 praying she takes a longgggg nap today.
the first few nights you can hold her for a few minutes then put her in the crib. I read that it takes 20 minutes for a baby to get into their deep sleep. if you can pick her arm up and it flops back down you can lay her by herself without her waking.
she can sleep on her own. I put her down in her crib right before she's asleep. she squirms a little but she eventually soothes herself to sleep.
I'm really gonna try this! My baby doesn't cry like that she just needs to be on a schedule! & I wanna get her on one before I start back working. I will be trying this tonight tho! Thank you!! Does your baby sleep with you or does she sleep on her own? That's another thing I'm trying to work on. My daughter will only sleep on me or beside me. @kaibriellelove
she would cry for hours and hours. I would cry with her sometimes because I was so tired. the first night I started this was great I got so much sleep and I've been doing it since.
Yes! I need all the advice/help I can get! @kaibriellelove
if you want I can tell you what I do with my little girl. it works for us. we started last week.
She'll be 6 weeks Sunday! We're up now😫😫😫 we've been up since about 2:45! I'ma try to start with her today..but I doubt it'll work since she's been up since 2:45! She'll want to sleep all day today. @kaibriellelove
you have to start her to sleeping on her own. when you return to work no one is going to want to hold her while she sleeps honestly. once you set a schedule stick with it!! and then she'll have no choice but to go with the plan BC she'll be tired by the end of the day. I get my son tired by having "tummy time" 2 or 3 tones a day and he's out like a light and I just leave him where he is (usually on a mat on the floor)
I hope sooo! The only way she'll sleep is when she's on me or beside me. That's the only way both of us will get any sleep. @nasirmommy
I think it took us about two or three weeks and it is glorious. although he don't sleep all night every night but you'll get more sleep I promise @marcelljessica
patience mama bear lol patience but start as soon as you can. it will take some time but you can't give up. if you need me I am here @marcelljessica
I've tried it but she still does what she wants! Lol. I'll keep trying tho because I go back to work soon and I don't wanna be up all night! @nasirmommy
it's not too late.it's best to start ASAP BC by 3 months she's used to how it is now.... take it from me my son cried all the time and didn't want to sleep but with a nice bath an a cereal bottle around 8pm he thinks he is in heaven an will sleep until his dad wakes up for work which is around 5am @marcelljessica
Yeah, I'ma start her on a schedule once she's 2 or 3 months. I wish I would have started it when she first came home. @nasirmommy
its all about patience and schedule.... my son was born in august extremely preemie and cane home a week b4 thanksgiving and didn't know how or when to sleep BC he was so used to being up every three hours like clockwork but we managed to get him to sleep thru the night now but sometimes he wakes up an just wants to cuddle
She hasn't did this since she was first born! @nasirmommy
long naps are not good.... my son does the same thing and if I let him take a lloonnggg nap. he turns right back around and wants to stay up ALLL night
Oh okay! Thank you!! @kaibriellelove
