Who had the group b strep test already? Is it bad?

They just swab your vagina and rectum. It doesn't hurt, but I have heard people say the swab was uncomfortable/hurt for them. I guess it depends on how aggressive your doctor is!

Do they use forceps to open you? That's what someone told me. @their.bomb.ass.mom

I get it done at 35 weeks, my next appointment

Not on me for that test, but they might for some people. some doctors do things differently.

I'm 14 weeks. I recently had mine done. I was given antibiotics for 5 days. got checked yesterday and swabbed. I'm definitely hoping it cleared up. but will hear back soon. the antibiotics definitely gave me an itchy vagina. so my doctor said, instead of it being a bad side effect from the medicine, can actually mean that's the medicine helping. it did give me a yeast infection. definitely have never had any of this before. but it happens to most woman.

I got my done last week. My doctor let me do it myself.

I had mine done last week, at 35 weeks. It's just a giant swab that they swab the whole inside of your vagina with. It's a little uncomfortable but it's quick. But she also check me for dialation, that was uncomfortable and it gave me bad cramps for the rest of the day

They don't check until 39 weeks where I go, and by huge swab do you mean them swabs with the bigger tips about as wide as your finger? I've seen those 😳

@rylansmomma, had mine done Monday. She did it so fast I didn't even notice
