ok so I feel like I'm going crazy! I've been experiencing brown spotting on and off almost every 2nd week. I'm now 9 weeks and it's back I'm terrified. I'm not having much pain some stretching and feeling uncomfortable when lying flat but other than this nothing. Has anyone else had this? Seen the GP who advised just to rest. It's really getting me down now I'm not sleeping for worrying. I would like another scan for reassurance but don't feel like the gp cares.
Thanks for all your lovely comments it's just so frustrating when you feel like you get NO support from the midwife or GP. I have the midwife at 12:30 I will speak with her and if not I will phone the early pregnancy clinic direct. Not holding out much hope with the midwife. xx
Surely you can skip your GP and just go to your local hospital EPU for a scan? That's what I did when I had bleeding before 12 weeks. X
Some bleeds can be normal hun..and don't mean anything really. My auntie was on her 'period' throughout her pregnancy. I would still get a scan though to check everything is alright. You may have a hematoma( bleed ) on the uterus. But get plenty of rest Xx
I would demand that they scan you just to put your mind at rest, if your gp doesn't sound interested your hospital should have an early pregnancy unit, give them a call x
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
I don't think you can self refer to an EPU, you need a GP referral. That's how it works in my area anyway. I was referred by my GP for an early scan without issue, I know it's worrying but it really is quite common in early pregnancy to bleed. I tend to find GP's and midwives unsympathetic until later in pregnancy anyway. x
