Hi Preggies, We've had some requests from moms who are going through difficult emotional times, before, during and after pregnancy. Some of you may be feeling alone, sad and anxious in an already challenging time. Some members would like to create a group where they can support each other and stay positive when it seems nearly impossible. Anyone interested in joining this group would comment here and then follow those women. Then you can look out for each other and send positive words of encouragement or just lend an open ear. One or two of you could also lead the group as well. Also, if anyone has a counseling background or would like to help out, please join, too. However, if you are feeling completely desperate and have nobody to turn to, please call 911 or another local hotline for help. Best, Preggie_USA

#mombassadorchat Today we have @Jordyn_beth chatting about Mental Health! Share your stories and advice and ask her anything! Jordyn is a college student studying child psychology. She has a 6 month old son named Bradley. Jordyn also is working full time and runs her own online business. Through personal and professional experience, Jordyn has learned some tools that are helpful when dealing with anxiety, stress, and depression. Some ways to cope and thrive with these conditions include meditating, scheduling mental health breaks and days, and seeking help when needed. Here are some tips! Start meditating. It can be even five minutes of just focusing on breathing. It helps a lot with anxiety and knowing your body. Working out and practicing yoga can release energy and anger, not to mention hormones that will help you feel your best. Ask for help. When you feel run down, ask someone to watch the kids and take a mental health day. It's okay to see a doctor and counselor. They are paid to help you and listen to you. Find one you like and don't miss appointments. Share your experiences and ask Jordyn questions in the comments below. Thank you @Jordyn_beth for this awesome chat!
