I'm really scared. I'm 32 weeks & I'm having a 2nd c-section because no doctors in my area will do VBAC :( my 1st c-section was horrible. Is the second time any easier? My veins are awful so for an IV they stuck me 17 times before finally getting it, they had me on cervidil because I wasn't dilating so every 2 hours they were replacing it hurting me bad where it has to go behind your cervix, after 2 days of labor they had me do c section, they had trouble getting my catheter in, then when they did my spinal they hit a nerve & it's been messed up since, then after all of that I had to heal which was excruciating.
@kiilaa, I really hope it's easier :( I really dread the whole wobbling around and bathroom trips again
my second one was way much easier that my first, you know all the precautions & you know what the pain will be like but it was easier for me . & i had the same thing happend to me cause i have rolling veins so it took them felt like forever just to get an iv in me.
Damm hun. well I do hope it helps and drink tons of water before you go in it will help veins too
@mommabear112, I'll sure try it. Mine are tiny and blow so easily. My arms were black and blue from my shoulders to the tips of my fingers literally by the time they got done. They even started having to prick my fingers for blood because they couldn't draw from my arms were everything was blown.
one thing that help your veins in have them apply heat for afew mins before poking you. also you can have you arm hang downwards to pool your blood some as you pump your hand this way your view become larger. Lol I got tricks for blood draws because mine love love love to roll ack.
@momma312 it totally creeped me out to think about them cutting me open while I was wide awake lol
I was awake with my first but going through it a second time kind of scares me :/ @lovemyson_610
@mrs.corbin29, thanks Hun I've been so worried about it.
I'd opt to be put to sleep if you can.. I was put to sleep for mine & after hearing all the things about how it messes people's backs & spines up, I'm soooo glad I got put to sleep!
my second went smoothly just took a Lil longer cause of the scar tissue from the first couple section.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
