I used half and half. sounds weird but I didn't even need a pump. 😂 just a bottle and my boob. my son got half and half for about a month before I stopped.

I pumped and supplemented with formula. I liked pumping better than him latching because I knew how much he was eating. I mixed breastmilk and formula in the same bottle. Usually half and half since the breastmilk helped him poop. They only say not to mix so that breastmilk doesn't get wasted but that wasn't a concern of ours. @twinmamma2015, yeah i understand what your saying.

If your going to pump and formula (which I did) I would feed your baby your breast milk first, then formula. It was different for me cuz I had twins but what I did was pump (split it evenly between the 2) if they got 1 oz each I'd give them that then depending on how much they were eating I'd give them 1 or 2 oz of formula. if that makes sense.

I intend on doing the same.

Ive thought about it and i dont want him to become dependent of the boob. Between working fulltime and going to school id rather just pump and save. And he can be bottle fed breastmilk when im not around

I think you should try breast feeding. I have done a lot of reading on it and the benifits are amaxing.
