Did anyone else's baby have diarrhea after being introduced to milk the first time? How long did it last? And did any of it have like an orangish tint?

Is she past one year? I started to give my son milk at 11m but it hurt his tummy. I ended up mixing a tiny bit of milk with formula so he could get use to it better. Babies can only process whole cow milk after they gain an enzyme around 1 year old so if they don't have it yet it can really hurt their stomach

yes it's normal it usually takes a month or so to get over it if it takes longer then that don't be afraid to talk to your doctor good luck :)

@mltober, she'll be one on Monday, we've given it to her 3 times, once at a restaurant and that was the only thing on the menu I saw that she could have and she loved it so I gave her a 2 more cups over a few days span and she's had diarrhea and gas for a week now

@mltober, @bucktat @kchapman0227 what did you ladies do to help them? My daughter is having such a hard time sleeping and screams most if the night and idk what to do for her

she may not be able to handle milk, my son can't and we have to give him almond or coconut milk. talk with her dr

try mixing half in half milk and formula to get your baby's tummy to get used to it because cows whole milk is so rich and its hard on their Tommy's also try yogurt for breakfast to help her get used to it quicker
