i have a random question im a ftm and my first sugar test came back 7 points over and my doctor never said i couldnt eat or drink anything before i go so about 20 min before i went the doctor for test and i ate a cheese burger and french fries and a coke. so his nurse called and said it was a little high but not to concerning so she said i needed a 3 hour test and i went a week after she called order was not in the computer i went early in the morning so i didn't eat anything i just drank water for 8 hours and when i went for my 2nd 1 hour one it was good we passed now im not sure if i needed a 3 hour one or not nurse said yes but never completed the 0rder and the doctor never said anything about it at all and I've seen him 3 times after that happened now im worrying about the baby any opinions on what to do

yeah I would definitely suggest trying to find a new doctor, they sound like they don't know what they're doing @miasmommy165
yeah i told her when she called i ate and dramk a pop as i was walking in and she said that it was invalid and wanted a 3 hour one and never put it into computer im so confused woth this doctor. at my first appointment i wasnt sure when my last period was because its always been different and so he went by what I guessed and then my orignal ultrasound baby was moving alot so i dont feel like maybe they got exact mesurments on her and she was 2 weeks bigger then expected by doctor so at my second ultrasound she was 2 weeks bigger that expected too and im not worrid about her being big bog babys run in the family just feel doctor isnt doing what hes supossed to be doing with her.@javiersmom,
they are never on the same page i called today for test results on a urine culture and i was told they want to see me every week for a stress test and need to scedule a ultrasound never heard anything until today just seen doctor on last thursday and never mentioned any of this until today they are always off date. @mom13
did you tell them you ate? Cause the same thing happened to my friend, but they just retested a week later & said she was fine
Pretty sure my nurse told me 24 weeks will be my glucose test. Well tomorrow's my appointment and they never said anything else about it :/ guess I'll make sure not to eat before I go in.
Hello I'm 15 days late did 5 test come back negative, so went doctor cos I had the signs of preagancey. The doctor said I did the test to early I'm 15 days late #myfirstpost
So I took a test half asleep this morning and it showed nothing, I left it on the side and about an hour later my boyfriend went in and noticed a faint but clearly pink line on the test.
Not sure what to think here, some people online have said that a faint pink even after time limit can be possitive, just very low levels of hCG ?
Some have said disregard it completely if it's after time limit.
I do not want to get excited, any one had anything similar ?
What was the turn out ?

Good morning ladies. Sorry I been ignoring yall but I have been so miserable the past days I'M STILL PREGNANT my contractions would be strong for hours and it looked like I was gonna have a baby then everything just stopped so I got sent home. they said I have to wait till my appointment Wednesday so I can talk to my doctor about the next step. So for the glucose test.. My appointment is Thursday at 9:30am... Do I not eat or drink anything??? Doctor never really explained 😩
