dude, seriously!?!? I left my dog with my grandparents until the baby is born because he's my service animal and he can't handle all the hormonal changes going on within me right now.
well leave it to my freaking manipulative grandmother to say "oh yeah, you want to laugh, by the way your dog has been going to your bedroom door and crying"...that doesn't make me laugh that makes me want to come pick up my baby boy and rescue him all over again.

my dogs my emotional support dog I could never imagine leaving her. she was so excited for our son to be born and she loves him. its hard enough for dogs when baby's are born. I'd go get him if I were you.

honestly leaving him with my grandparents was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but he was really acting out of character. he would sniff around where I had been sitting and then pee to mark his territory , he also got very edgy whenever anyone got near my belly to the point that he would nip at his dad. other than these things he's a good boy and he's been adjusting well down with them I just know my manipulative grandmother.
