OK my daughter is very independent so we let her have her own TV and she has a lot of movies for herself to watch I have been told that I'm a bad parent for letting her stay in her room and play with her toys and watch TV all her shows are educational she learns a lot from them so I don't see where the problem is she is not always in her room we dont go outside bc its way to cold right now we have tea parties and play with her babies together she is not ever board she has learning cards we play with and a doc mcstuffins operation game that she loves to play she loves listening to music when I cook and clean and she knows the words to ally favorite songs and we listen to Disney music to she loves to dance I just don't see where I'm a bad parent for letting her have a TV in her room

If you are a bad parent then 95% of the population are bad parents. I see nothing wrong with letting your child have a TV in their room! I know once my son gets old enough say around 5 or 6 I will let him have one. Some people are just straight ignorant when it comes to parenting.

the only bad part is, is that after they lecture me on the TV they turn around a week or 2 later and get their kids a TV

somebody is always gonna feel like they need to put their two cents in when it comes to your kid. my kid does it too. and is perfectly happy. he don't sit in there all day not stop. he goes to pre k throughout the day. so its perfectly fine for them to sit in there in watch TV, play. relax.

My 2 yr old has his own tv and watches nothing but educational shows. We pull out our learning cards and learning toys and learn what the different things are. It's your child, raise them as you see fit. I always tell people if they don't like how I raise my son then don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya! I've had to tell family that also.
