They'll usually wait til later to do it. I was 38-39 wks before I had that last ultrasound @happymommyof2

if u have already had a csection its safer for u and baby to just go with a csection

They don't usually do another ultrasound after 20 weeks unless there's a medical reason for doing so. They aren't concerned about positioning until later down the road... Closer to delivery. Ask your doctor if you're concerned.

I was concerned about that too and my doctors say they can tell which position the baby is in by hearing the heart beat :/ if it's low then they are in position but it's it's high then they are breech. I wanted another ultrasound. Lol.

@mucculleyfam6, VBAC carries about the same risks as a repeat c-section-it also depends on why the first c-section was needed.

@happymommyof2 weight gain is the reason-for you or baby? I'd ask more questions on that, because there's a lot of research in favor of VBACs. ☺

@mommagotbump16, my 1st was an emergency c-section my i dailated only 5cm and evertime i have a contractions my baby heartrate would drop due to the umbilical cord was wrapped around her leg..

@happymommyof2, sounds like you'd be a good candidate for trying a VBAC this time! I would ask your OB why not (I don't remember weight gain being a contraindication)
