anybody have experience with stripping membranes? I'm 39+3 with a doctors appointment today and I'm hoping they do something. been having contractions for 3 days now.

I had mine done on Thursday at 39+1 and am still just as pregnant as ever, lol. Hopefully it will bring you some better luck! :)

yes I have.  I had mine done at 37 weeks and I started having contractions 3 hours later 5 mins. apart so I went into the hospital and they kept me. @lexus237

I had my membranes stripped at 39 with my first. My water broke the next morning, at home. You're almost there!
