Doppler appt today!!! Going to ask about vaccines while pregnant, moms, did any of you get the flu shot and tdap shot while pregnant, or did you wait til you delivered? Why or why not?

I got the flu shot 10 days ago. And now I have the flu..
I'm 37 weeks n I didn't get the flu shot by I did get the tdap shot because of whooping cough
prior to my pregnancy a couple of years ago for 3 years I had gotten that flu shot that made me feel like i was dying each time. I am hard to get sick and that shot just gave me the worst of all flus. starting 2 years ago I refused to have it anymore and voala I no longer get sick, at least so severely. I decided not to take the flu shot with pregnancy because my mom didn't have to take the flu shot and baby will have a natural immune system that will be able to fight of those nasty ickiness the natural and most effective way :)
my doctor told me it was very imporant to get tdap and flu shot while pregnant.
I haven't gotten the flu shot in a few years but definitely going to get the tdap before I leave the hospital after delivering, just don't know about getting them now.
I got the flu shot 2 weeks ago. I got it to try and keep this lil boy healthy.
This was my first time getting the flu shot, & I did it while pregnant because I was told by my pharmacist that it could also give my daughter a boost toward fighting off the flu. I also plan on getting the tdap about a month before she's born.
I didn't get any symptoms from my flue shot though which really surprised me.

I'm 37 weeks and I didn't get the flu shot either. the past 2 years I haven't gotten the flu shot, and HAVE NOT gotten the flu. knock on wood
I didnt get the flu shot because i have heard that you will get flu like symptoms but i did get the tdap shot because of whooping cough that way you wont pass it on to your baby after she/he is born
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.

So after talking to dr I'm going to skip the flu shot. Still on the fence about tdap while pregnant.
