Has anyone had complications during pregnancy that actually were not caused by or had anything to do with pregnancy?
My first pregnancy was pregnancy related problems. I went into labor twice. Once at 25 weeks and then once at 27 weeks. Thankfully they were able to stop it. Then my daughter was born at 37 weeks and 2 days because I ended up having preeclampsia so I was induced.
My second pregnancy I went it to labor 2 times before I was due. Once at 24 weeks and once at 27 weeks. They were able to stop it both times again thankfully. Then there were signs that I was starting to get preeclampsia again so I was induced with my son at 39 weeks and 2 days.
With baby #3 I thankfully haven't gone into labor at all. And besides occasional contractions that go away I haven't had any pregnancy related issues. But now I have severe tachycardia, which is extremely high heart rate. Pretty scary cause they have no idea what is causing it.
I have friends who have had preeclampsia but I think I'm the only one who had "severe" preeclampsia. I had signs of it in my first pregnancy but wasn't diagnosed with it. I hear it's common to get it again. I also hear that baby aspirin could help prevent it??
@kimberlyyyy, I actually have never talked to someone who had preeclampisa as well. My OB told me that since I had it with my first and signs with my second that every time I am pregnant it is likely I will have problems with it again.
I have heard that as well but only recently though. My Ob told me it only helps if you take from the very beginning of pregnancy.
