she's so young. she still needs you close. i don't blame you. my girl is 10m and still co sleeps most nights

our daughter slept in a bassinet next to me until she was 4 months then we moved her to her crib in her room. I still had a hard time...got up a lot to check on her but after a while it got better.

I tried co sleeping with her, but everyone jumped down my throat for sleeping with her.... & my bf won't let me anymore because we got fussed at by so many people :(

that's the only way I'm comfortable and can get a good night of sleep. she sleeps all throughout the night and so do I.. I just want her near me :( but everyone keeps telling us "she won't want to sleep alone when she's older" "you are getting her on a habit that can't be broken" so my bf is trying to get me to put her in her crib... @_akgirl

I'm sorry but that's bull shit. the first 6w my daughter slept on my chest all night. and she sleeps in her crib just fine. it's me that keeps her in our bed. tell them thanks for your advice, but she's y'alls, not theirs.

There are studies that show that when cosleeping is done right, it is very beneficial for baby and even reduces sids. I believe that it is hard for us to be away from our babies when they are little because... we are supposed to be close to our babies when they are little! I kept my baby in bed with me for the first 3 or 4 months and then transferred him to his crib. I will admit that I cried the first night, but it was time and he sleeps alone just fine:) @countyourblessings05

Haha. They might have rolled over on my baby!! but as the mother I was always aware of every noise and movement baby made, even in my sleep and never had him in a position that I could have obstructed his breathing! It just feels so natural and right:) @countyourblessings05

exactly! that's how I am. every sound she makes I wake up instantly.. I wish I could sleep with her without my bf fussing about it as well. @elenalee

And don't worry about spoiling until they're older. Right now you're teaching the baby to trust you and that they will be provided for... The rest comes later.

Yes@rgaine exactly! @countyourblessings05 my husband didn't like it either but I insisted and promised him it wasn't forever... I think he was most concerned that our son would never leave out bed and he would never have sexy time again. lol.
