Okay I saw a video on Facebook that made me irate today!!! A new mother was part of an experiment where she would "sit and nurse" where ever she wanted to. Everyone was acting so disgusted by her actions. and one woman even went as far as telling her to give the baby a bottle so she wouldn't be exposing everyone to her body. and then I saw a thing about Wendy Williams thinking women shouldn't breastfeed in public...

As a mother I'm pissed off about this!!! I was ashamed to breastfeed my older 2 children in public (covered or not) because my sister-in-law made it out to be disgusting. With my third I was breastfeeding walking through the grocery store uncovered (still couldn't see that she was nursing) and had a woman walk up to me and ask to see the baby I turned her a little and her response is what made my day "oh my goodness you couldn't even tell she was eating. keep up the good work momma" I am hoping that it goes as smoothly with number 4 as it did with 3!

To the breastfeeders out there do not let anyone pass judgment on you for openly feeding out in public! I mean you don't go to a restaurant and eat in the bathroom or with a blanket over your head so why should our children have to? #normalizebreastfeeding
