best sippy cups to transition a 12month old to from bottles?

I use the nuby silicone nipple ones but he knows how to drink out of a regular cup and straw. do what you feel is best for YOUR child

The teeth rot comment was to someone else above who mentioned it, but baby teeth fall out so I don't see how that could determine how his adult teeth come in? Either way transitioning to sippy cups is awesome! I have a few with the silicone nipples and a few 360s my babies favorite is the avent right now, they have ones that come with two nipples one like a bottle and then a sippy so you can get them used to the cup and then the nipple and flow

the doctor said since he has teeth the bottle nipple will make his teeth grow outward and he would need braces when he is older and we don't want that so I am trying to transition into sippy cups @aneely13

You still have to suck on the 360 to get milk out it does not leak of turned upside down. And also a bottle has nothing to do with the teeth rotting, if they're drinking anything other than water and their guns/teeth are not brushed they can rot no matter what they drink from.

it would spill. it turns cups upside down I prefer a cup with a lid. I'm just tryna find a cup to start him off to get away from bottles...ugh this is like trial and error it sucks @lovemyson_610

lol my son refuses to use the ones with the nipples on them. the APA recommends the 360 cup or just a regular cup. my son prefers my cup to his 360 cup.

well I hope I find something soon that he likes cuz he has to get off the bottles sooner than later. @justinjrsmommy

my son has those too. he loves those. it might take him some getting use to.

those might work I was looking at these since the nipple is soft like the bottle and it would be easier to transition him into these kind. I have bought three different types of cups and he don't like any of them except one and that's only if I hold it for him.
