@mommybump2016, thank you! My hubby was trying to tell me that if she ended up handicapped in anyway that it would be no way to live but I don't get how he can say that. Every life is a gift. I couldn't imagine just letting my little girl die

very understandable! there are a lot of handicapped kids/adults that do amazing things and impact so many people's lives is a great way!

It's not selfish at all. Try not to stress too much, it is not selfish to want to love her any way she is. I would still try to save her. Don't let anyone tell you what your gut says is wrong.

@mommybump2016, we don't even know if we have to worry about that yet but just thought of seeing my baby and telling the doctors to just let her go would kill me

@kristian545, I never thought that my hubby would be the one to say that either. At this point if she came that early I'd just let the doc know that I call the shots I don't care how that affects our relationship my main concern is my baby

Yea I wouldn't be able to do it either. And they shouldn't try to persuade you with those words. Shame on your hubby and the doctor. Those are guilt trip words smh. She has every right to be here just like them knuckle heads smh

@sexxymama83, Exactly!! They shouldn't get to play God and just let her die because she doesn't have the best odds. If my little girl has a chance then I'm gonna do everything I can to give it to. Her dad can decide if he wants to stay along for the ride or not

my best friend was told by 2 drs that she should terminate her pregnancy cuz her daughter would be born still born or live for a few hrs and pass away or the baby woud be born and be a vegetable. she had her mind set on that she was gonna grow this baby and give birth to her and help her as much as possible and love her the same no matter what. needless to say her daughter us beautiful and smart and nothing wrong with her and shes completely healthy

@Momof031989, I love stories like that!!! My water broke at 19 weeks but they think it has resealed itself so we pray that it has! Until I hit 34 weeks they are just keeping a close on me and telling us about everything that could happen
