don't let anyone tell you an excuse that you need to do that to your son . cleaning is not hard at all . any man can have problems regardless @gabrielsmommy1 but whatever you choose I'm not judging
my little boy was 7 when the doc said he had to have it done. it was the worst thing ever. he was in so much pain and he suffered with it for like 3 weeks. my opinion is that it should be done when they are babies so they don't have to remember it. he is always worried when he goes to the doc now cause he thinks he is gonna have to do it again.
hubby and i decided we will not do it. we will give him that choice when he is older. i researched and we saw videos of the procedure and decided against it. our faith also says it doesnt matter if you are or not so that confirmed it for us.
my son isn't circumcised I didn't want him to go thru the pain, but so far he hasn't had a infection, and his 1 I made sure to clean it everyday every good:)
For those who think it's untrue that infection isn't more common in the uncircumcised all I have to say is my husband isn't and he gets yeast infections very frequently and it's embarrassing to him every time he has to go to the doctor and get it checked out they ask him if it's an STD when it isn't but they make him get tested anyways and it's painful for men to get swabbed for STD's and I know at least one of you are thinking "we'll maybe of he kept it more clean that wouldn't happen" I can promise you my husband keeps it very clean cause he's a very cleanly person for that reason we will be circumcising our son
I had my twins circumcised, like I let everyone else know my mother n I both work in the medical field and have seen many grown men having to come in and have it done, it had gotten to where it was medically necessary. Now guys who aren't if they're really clean can still get infections from girls and they can keep giving it back n forth to each other. I have never heard of anyone dieing from it, it's something that is done many times everyday. I research everything as well and yet to see statistics on deaths by circumcisions. But that is just me, what I've found and what if seen first hand. Nothing is worse than having to have it done as a grown man.
I'd do it because my brother in law wasn't circumcised (my sister in law tells me everything even when I don't want to know lol) he's 32 years old now & it caused him to keep infections & problems for years. Now it's gotten so bad that he has to have surgery & be circumcised now. I know the thought seems a little morbid especially where they're babies but the health outcome seems worth it to me.

I did it . healed withn a week. He hardly even cryed when he got it done.
I did NOT get my son circumcised and won't for any future boys I may have. I would never put my child in pain like that for something that is cosmetic. Plus it's his body, not mine. Children have died from circumcisions, weather that be from blood loss, infection, oxygen deprivation, etc. My SO was fighting me on it he wanted to get our son circumcised UNTIL he did research on it himself and then agreed with me to not do it. Your decision just research and do what you feel is best for your baby.
well me personally wouldn't do it i didn't do it with my first and not going to do with my second their dads not circumcised either its a lie about it getting infected only way is if your not cleaning it well.
My thoughts are that it is sometimes dangerous not to. It can get infected more, takes more cleaning... My friends father is not circumcised and even at 40 years old they will suggest getting it done. He has had to go to the doctor to get it cleaned out multiple times and it is embarrassing for him that they still suggest it.
