Anyone breastfeeds or plan to breastfeed? How long did it take for your milk to come in? Did you produce great colostrum? Did you do anything to help or increase your milk supply?

I breastfed My 1st for 15 months. took 3 days for my milk to come in but I did have a good bit of colostrum. I got pregnant when she was 13 months and couldn't stand the feeling anymore.

Same here :) my second girl will be here March 14th & I've been blunt about the pacifiers lol. As long as you put in the work & stay healthy it shouldn't be too difficult. Good luck Hun!

Not a problem at all. I really appreciate the advice and tips. I won't give up. I'm going to stick it out and do what it takes. I've heard you have to stay very hydrated. I'm against pacifiers. I didn't even put any on my registry for my baby shower @momma312

Ok I've seen that before. I'll have to get some. Yes some people are very selfish after having babies. It's not about u anymore!! That's what they don't understand. There's no such thing as sleep. Lol! @bethleann

Sorry it's so long lol but no one gave me many tips when I first started so it was extremely difficult for me starting out. Also if you have inverted nipples or stubborn ones nipple shields are kind of helpful :)

I've had colostrum for about 2 weeks now & I'm 32 weeks. Mine like drizzles out. W/my 1st little girl my actual milk came in about 2 days after she was born but she latched on great about 3 hours after she was born, the colostrum is extremely healthy for them :) & the only suggestion I can think of to boost your supply is drink lots & lots of fluids. I'm talking like 8 glasses of water or more. Plus massaging your boobs a lot helps speed up the milk. & w/e happens DO NOT give up. Even when you think it's not going to work stick it out. It's not easy. But it's worth it. Oh & don't use pacifiers because the baby will try to stop taking the nipple sometimes when they take pacifiers.

it is frustrating and painful that's why people give up to easy I hate formula and can't stand it so I refused to give up and I think I got mine from Wal-Mart I think the brand was madela or something like that it's in an orange and white tube it worked great for me you can also use coconut oil that stuff helps to but yes people aggravate me when they think about their self and not their child .. @chill

I see lots of women giving up on it and giving there babies formula because they are unaware of cluster feeding and want to "sleep" Smh @bethleann Any nipple cream you recommend?

Besides how my delivery is going to go, I'm nervous about breastfeeding. Having enough supply and sticking to it worries me @graciesmom2016

I had good colostrum a few weeks before delivery, and my milk came in about 3 days after I had her. I didn't do anything specific to bring it in, just hand expressed to keep it up until I got my milk
