twins are due July 16 but with twins usually being born early, I feel like I only have about 4 1/2…

I was always told that with twins if you make to 30 weeks. YOUR LUCKY

4 1/2 months, they would be 2 1/2 months early which is bad. twins are usually only born early if the doctors say it's necessary, from what I've heard

@lesherbreanne, yea its between 32-37 weeks. some woman make if past. I hope to get to 37 or further. with my son he didn't want to come till almost 44 weeks. but with twins they usually don't let you go past 38 weeks. I'm having mono Di Twins. two amniotic sacs and one placenta.

@same here. yea I'm high risk. I was told all twin or more pregnancies are high risk. have you had your NT scan yet?

ummm i dont think so bc i dont know what that is i haven't seen the high risk doctor yet

it's where they check the babies for down syndrome. I'm doing my test tomorrow. we're just doing a sonagram to measure the fluids behind their necks and a blood test as well. the blood test may be able to tell me genders. but will mostlikely have to wait till im closer to 20 weeks. this scan I'm doing is the safest way to check a baby. you never want them to insert a needle into your stomach to check the placenta or amniotic fluid. I think they did that with my first pregnantcy. I had no clue. I was on medicaid and I didn't get any information on anything and wasn't asked my decisions. I'm on Aetna insurance now and surprised in how informative my doctors and nurses are. plus I made sure I picked out the highest paying doctor this time. I don't like being treated disrespectfully by doctors.

since it was so long ago. I'm not exactly sure if they even did the test. I just can't seem to remember that part.
