I was just told to up my Glyburide pills another half starting tonight. Now I will take 2.5 pills to try to get my overnight fasting down. I guess we will see if this works, I feel like nothing is going to bring my fasting numbers down. This is my first pregnancy with GD, and my last pregnancy. I love being pregnant, but can't wait for the GD nightmare to be over.

You should definitely talk to your Dr. about your fasting numbers being high. Are you in a gestational diabetes program? They put me in a program called Sweet Success, where I have meetings every 2 weeks to discuss my numbers and to figure out if I need a bigger dose for fasting. How long have you been diagnosed? If you were just diagnosed maybe they are still working on what to do. I was diagnosed really early, from 9 weeks and now am at 24 weeks.
they haven't put me on medicine my fasting is always in the 105-115 this morning it was 130. should I change doctors? I can't seem to do anything to get it down. I can control my sugar during the day all day long but at night I don't even eat anything with carbs and it's that high
usually right around 100, they are supposed to be below 90

I took 2.5 pills last night and my fasting was 82! Maybe 2.5 is the magic number!
