im nine weeks and just got all my first prego appt results back everything came back great except i have to take antibiotics for a bacterial infection in my vjj and then when i give birth in august i will to get medicine to protect the baby when they are delivered...has anyone else had this issue??

any idea what that could be from? then wanted to prescribe me keflex but im allergic so now im getting amoxicillin
they said it was in my vagina and found it in my urine which could mean a bladder infection
Was it in your urine? Early on in my pregnancy I had a bladder infection and they tested the bacteria and it was the group b strep. And because of it, I have to have an antibiotic while giving birth as well.
im not sure i guess its a common thing and ill always have it but once i take antibiotics i should be ok but it wont cure it
strep B probably but I never had antibiotics until my labor I was just carrying it!!!
