no problem hun but seriously document everything, make notes of what you ask him to get, how hard it is to get anything from him, attitudes everything. don't let him know. if you have any other questions I can try an help, not claiming to be a pro but I've read and talked to the courts and I can share what I know and what I'm doing

our lawyer told us if the father signed the paperwork then you will have to have the father sign over his rights bc with him signing the birth certificate he's claiming the child is his aka surpassing the paternity test.. it doesn't give him an legal rights to the child but it gives him rights to fight for visitation without having to prove paternity. I literally just left court with my friend who is unwed last week over this. You can, however, fight to remove him from the birth certificate but it's a lot of hoops @jaden_mylove

ya you don't have to and he "legally" isn't allowed to bash the other parent but how they enforce that I dunno but girl you hold all.the cards. be nice about it so he can't use it against you, document everything and don't let him come around then

see we only got DNA testing and child support because I was on my county help, and they did it all, he never showed up for court so I automatically got full custody and if he wanted to see him it was up to me. He was only ordered $55 a month and would pay it once in a great while, when he did it was awesome help though for clothes and shoes. He has even been in jail like 5 times for not paying.But I wish mine cod sign rights over

Haha Tennessee girl that's where I'm at! if your not married he has no say in care or your baby!! you don't have to let him see your baby not unless a judge orders you! and it goes DNA testing, the child support. just cuz you do child support does not mean he can see your baby! it has to go to family Court first! girl tell him to kick rocks then!

@jaden_mylove, my oldest sons dad has not done a damn thing for him in 9 years, has only seen him 2 times but where im at there needs to be 2 parents legally responsible for a child so until me and my fiance get married and he adopts him the deadbeat can't sign his rights over

So when I try to go get them,he don't respond to any of my messages. had to just say something about court just to get a reply😑
