Went to the doctor this morning! No blood work so I'll probably get it next time. Got to hear the heart beat and doctor said it sounded strong. :) I only gained a pound, but I had lost a pound last time so I technically haven't gained any weight since I've known I was pregnant. Next appointment is in 4 weeks and we'll get another ultrasound!

Is it normal to only have gained 1 pound my whole pregnancy? My doctor says it’s fine but to me it sounds like a serious problem. With my first I gained 40 pounds lol.
I'm 12 weeks and my doctor said I should have gained 10 pounds by now and I've gained 1. Anyone else have problems with gaining weight in the beginning?
Up 30 lbs ? Went to the doctor today and yup.... I've gained 30 pounds already. I'm 22w1d. My doctor is not worried at all. I was on phentermine pills (diet pills that help decrease appetite) before I got pregnant so my body was used to only eating once a day but I stopped taking them as soon as I thought I was pregnant. So now my body is just in shock with eating 3 meals plus snacks a day. I'm just like WOW 30lbs! I gained 45 with my first but I was heavier to start with my first . Oh well. Who else has gained this much?

sounds like everything is going good!! i wouldnt worry about the weight. depending on your body type you prolly wont gain much anyways.

@jennaboo, they took about 6 tubes when I had my 12week ultrasound, and they said they'd be taking one more tube next time I came in. But I didn't have it done today so they'll probably do it at my next appointment after my ultrasound.

@briplusone, I'll be almost 19 weeks so they're going to check and see if they can tell! if not we'll have another one at 22weeks. :) I hope we find out!
