I'm having a boy and def plan on it! I was shown pictures of parents who didn't circumcise their son and they can get infected and it was ewww lol and my boyfriend pretty much said we are doing it lol

I'm having a boy as well and he will be circumcised. better to do it now which he won't remember than later when he will suffer

I had my twins circumcised. Working in the medical field my mom n myself have I've seen many grown men have to come in and have it done and that's worse when they're older and can remember it.

I had my baby circumcised almost 2 years ago and it was my best decision yet. He is a lot easier to clean & he didn't cry much after it got done.

I had a boy and no it took both me and my fiancée 10 mins to both agree. I've taken care of babies that aren't and they got infections easy and it was a hassle to care for. my son never cried during the procedure. I had ppl try and talk me out of doing it but I felt it was best for him.

I'm uncomfortable with circumcision without a medical necessity. My doctor's brother was a victim of a botched circumcision. My opinion on it usually results in being socially bullied and harrassed so I won't go into to much detail but if a need for it occurs I would do it. But I feel that's my son's choice on whether or not he wants that and it's none of my business what my son's penis looks like. (my husband disagrees. He thinks he has every right to have it done without our sons consent.)

if I was gunna have a boy I sort of unconsciously decided he wouldn't be circumcised. but that's because my boyfriend isn't circumcised and I never really knew that for the longest time (I didn't exactly pay much attention to his junk at the time haha)

it seems unnecessary to me, it's really not hard to keep them clean which prevents any infections.

I just don't seem to see the point in the procedure short or long term honestly.

I had both of my boys snipped. and they are both healthy and never did get an infection. but to each is own. it's really up too you if u wanna have it done.

I think I'll end up having to just have my husband do it since he wants it so bad. I definitely don't want Phoenix getting infections there.. But I don't think I could be the one in the room while the procedures done.

I don't have my son circumcised. I belive the lord put that extra skin there for a reason. It's actually fairly easy to clean. No infections. Also my ex (his father) is not circumcised so at the moment of l&d my ex was the one to talk I was unaware that they would ask him that question so it was just a no and I'm okay with that. It just really is up to what you and your SO agree on.

the problem is we don't agree haha my husband is circumcised so he's all for it. which I guess since he's experienced it and seems to be all for it I should listen to him. Its just as Phoenixs mother I feel like I need to protect him from all the pain I possibly can @mrspavlides

yes I complete understand. my former SO before we knew we were going to have a girl we discussed this and I felt the same way as you and what I say up above but because my SO us circumcised hr thought it'd be best to circumcise him. He was like ask the Dr it's just a hard topic as I have family members that are note circumcised and live a perfectly healthy life with no infection I mean the statistic I think of those getting infected is very small (I think) it's not that hard to clean their penis without it being circumcised. Do your own research see if that helps best of luck. @maciecakes

I'm having a boy and he will be circumcised. Just look at the pros and cons and decide for yourself what is best for your baby.

I'm not circumcising my son. There's no need to. As long as you keep it clean there won't be any infections. I had a hard time coming to this decision though.

I have a 4 year old and he was not circumcised and I don't plan on circumciseing my on the way boy. and as for the infection my son has never gotten any.
