definitely and like @stephrox said your baby may not like one food this week but next week your baby may love it!
if baby doesn't like it at first, don't give up trying. sometimes it can take 5-10 tries before they get used to something. especially if they're used to sweets and u try something bitter. watch for allergies obviously. welts and red spots, swelling... Good luck
Do some reading on BLW. As long as baby is 6 months old, sitting unassisted, and has a pincher grasp they can feed themselves pretty much any soft food you eat. My son loves bananas, steamed vegetables, and chicken.
basically what @wyatts_mommy_0106 however I started my boys with bananas and they love them, and then tried sweet potatoes and they love them now to. I am doing fruit, veggie. fruit, veggie. I don't think necessarily that if you start with fruit that they'll less likely eat veggies. But that is just me and how I feel. I try to balance it out, one fruit for 4 days, 1 veggie for 4 days, then a different fruit for 4 days. all babies are different. Like one of my boys likes pears the other doesn't lol.
Start with a veggie because if you start with a fruit they are less likely to wanna eat veggies. Baby will push the food out with their tongue scoop it up and keep feeding baby bites baby will eventually swallow its a reflex of the tongue they have to get over. pick a veggie and keep baby on that veggie for 4 days and then wait a day before starting a new one to be safe baby don't have a allergic reaction
try giving the vegetables first then the fruits.
