@tahtahme, Hopefully you and babies will be safe! I'm sorry to hear that. I am only carrying 1, but my weight and diabetes make me more prone to it I guess. So naturally, I started to worry. I'm only 23 weeks, and had a higher than normal blood pressure last week that came down when tested again after lying down. The wanted to see me again this week. Hopefully, I am just worried over nothing..

Signs are high blood pressure, protein in urine, swelling, and a few other things, only cure is birthing baby and placenta and its important to do it soon because these things can be fatal if not handled correctly. You supposedly get from the placenta, so you are at higher risk if you have multiples like I do. I had slightly high blood pressure last week and they took me to the hospital and had me do a bunch of blood tests and took a urine sample. My only symptom was slightly high blood pressure which went down while at the hospital. Because of this, I was sent home on bed rest and given another appointment 4 days later, I am assuming so they can take more samples and decide if I have progressed. If I have, I assume I will be having my babies in the next few days, if not I will have next week hopefully.
