We went to the doctor today because he has had a really bad diaper rash that doesn't seem to be responding to anything. I just started Boudreaux's butt paste though so the pediatrician wants me to continue that along with making sure his butt gets washed with warm water every time he poops. I'm also making sure he gets air time without a diaper, right now he's doing tummy time with no diaper. Any other tips or tricks? A&D, aquaphor and Desitin didn't seem to work. The pediatrician doesn't think it's his diaper because it's only on his butt.

I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. Questions for older kids: when did ya'll start potty training? Is before 18 months to soon or no? How long did it take to get them potty trained?
Ugh i don't know what to do! Ds in 4 yo. He's been potty trained for over a year now. He still wears diapers at night which is perfectly fine. But lately, he has almost become UN-potty trained. He pooped in his diaper this morning instead of going potty. The. Had two accidents and in addition decided to poo in the floor. I don't know what to do! I don't know why he's doing this. Oi!
That moment when you buy a box of size 6 night time diapers (since Ian is only day time potty trained) and open it to find mainly size 1, one size 3, and 1 size 4 diapers (oh and only 3 of what you wanted)

Every child is different. If he's showing signs then let him try! I found it easier to let my son try standing to pee. Reward systems are always good.

I started at a year because I knew it's a long process. I put the potty in the same bathroom as I used and took him with me to try every time I had to to show him this is where we pee.

My youngest boy just turned 3 and he's only been potty trained a couple months. I tried much earlier, but he just wasn't ready yet.

My baby just turned 20 months and I just started to get her used to the potty and put her on it once and a while. I don't think she is personally ready yet but I was hoping to get her interested lol
