I had minor cramps that progressed, but my water broke. That's why I called the doctor. I was already 4cm dilated. I progressed quickly and there was no mistaking the contractions closer to delivery.

No nothing at all like BH .. BH is just your tummy getting tight contractions is your body trying to push the baby out.. I told my dr I though I was having contractions and his words exactly were "wait till you can't move or talk when you feel like your having a contraction every 5 min. Before going to the hospital" and boy was he right ahaha

When you can't move or talk or walk or even blink because of the pain .. That's how you know ahah I was cooking dinner when mine started and I opened the oven then stopped and grabbed the counter , then took the food out and started getting the plates out then stopped and grabbed the counter ... You seriously can't do anything when actual labor contractions start It's like a pain that goes threw your whole body I felt mine in my tummy and legs and arms

it sounds stupid but you just will know trust me the pain from them contractions will def be a sign
