I just started a new daycare job and I've been working there for 3 days. I didn't tell them I'm pregnant yet. I'm about to be 18 weeks tomorrow and everyone keeps telling me I should wait a month or so to tell them. I'm nervous though because I don't want to tell them and then have to say I'm really far along. I'm so nervous I'm going to get fired or they'll be really unhappy with me. I don't know what to do.

The sooner you tell them the easier. Honestly! I told them at my interview so I wouldn't procrastinate it. They can't legally fire you for it but it won't stop them from being frustrated with you for avoiding bringing it up

You are protected by the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, you can't be fired and you don't have to tell them any information about your pregnancy either. Here: ссылка

its illegal to fire you because your pregnant. I would wait a little bit on telling them, then if you still feel guilty for telling them you are pregnant so far a long, say you found out after you got the job!

They cant fire you bc you're pregnant, & you're not obligated to tell them you're pregnant before getting the job. I would wait at least a month, but don't be worried about losing your job

I'd tell them, with holding information is grounds for firing an employee @kelsicutie
