Hey ladies so I could do with a bit of help, I've spent time researching but I still can't decide what pram system to get for my baby! ...we don't know the sex so will probably go for a gender neutral one or just black *sigh* but I don't have a clue, the last time I had to do this was over 5 years ago and I knew what I wanted, I saw it in the bounty magazine and fell in love with it! it was barely out and I got it for under £700 but the Mr is saying we can't spend so much this time 😣 he thinks it's a waste of money, however I might be able to persuade him if I love it enough 😉...but if I'm honest I'd rather not spent so much I think under £600 for the whole travel package is enough but we'll see.
So if you have any ideas then please fire away, thank you all x
@abiruth, oh nice! ok yh if I choose that one I don't mind because I'm having a summer baby anyway so won't need the footmuff for a while, so I'll have time to pick one up lol xx
It was on offer as well my mum brought it so I can't remember what the offer was. It can all be world facing or parent facing which is something that I liked. Other downside is it doesn't come with a foot muff but I found one online for so cheap and it is so nice @mummyx316 xx
@abiruth, yh the basket is big enough to store the changing bag so it's defo something I could live with lol, it really is lovely xx
@mummyx316, more than welcome, I feel In love with it before I new what sex I was having. I was going to buy it before I found out I was having a girl. It is so easy to put up and put down. U can leave it together as well as take it apart to put it down. It is so easy to clip together and take apart. The only downside is it doesn't have hooks to put a changing bag on but the basket it big enough in my opinion xx
@julie-louise, that's what I was thinking! you're definitely making me feel better about it lol, everyone has been telling me I should go for black, greys, charcoals etc just in case and I'm like but if it's a girl then it might be a bit boring and my last one was black for exactly the same reason and I found it boring lol. I really don't want to wait til I find out the sex because it's the most expensive thing and I'd rather get it out the way in the beginning and then just have to focus on the small things lol ...I do love purple and that shade in particular so I might just have to get it lol x
@mummyx316, purple is a girls or boys colour my hubby loves purple. I just got it because it looks amazing and I fell in love with the colour. X
@abiruth, again I'm really loving the purple it's my favourite colour lol, thank you. ..I'll take a look at it online x
@amielee93, ah brilliant, thank you for your help x.
@julie-louise, I'll take a look I'm really loving the purple! I was thinking of getting a purple one but my friend has said doesn't think it's a good idea in case it's a boy 😣 I don't think my son would mind though lol x
@deon88 ooh nothing like a bit of luxury! lol x
Yea I went baby shopping for other stuff with all plan to get mothercare orb and saw it in baby barn shop and was like I have got to have it , it's not heavy or bulky at all and basically folds down to nothing@mummyx316
@amielee93, it does look really nice...have you seen it in person? ...is it big and bulky or heavy? I'm going to have to go around and start looking at prams because my last one was so heavy and not fun getting on and off buses lol I really do like the look of it though.
@ban yboots, yea I is the same I think I payed 489 and it has covers to put over the wheels when you come inside for if they are dirty xx
@deon88, I wanted the poka dot one too but did not for the same reason X
I've just bought mine get it next week but I did want the white polka dot one but wasn't very practical haha c
I have the urbo 2 with separate carry cot and adapters for car seat. I still love it 4 months on and I'm normally ready for changing after a few weeks as have a bit of an obsession with prams 🙈xx
Ah I see, yh I really hate when I have to but separate bits that's what would have had to happen with the icandy so I probably would have been looking at like £900 at least and I refuse to do it lool. the silver cross one comes with everything including car seat, foot muff and change bag which is cool and it matches the colours you've chosen for the pram, I like that but I do like your price better lol @amielee93
I wanted the I candy to start with but so many people have it I wanted something different . the mother care orb was my second chose but as soon as I saw the Venicci one I fell in love with it , it is so so well made too , I have paid 489.00 but that is for everything and all the accessories and care set as when I wanted the orb it's good price but had to get a car seat separate so does not work out that different @mummyx316
@amielee93, thanks hun I will Google it and have a look, I've been looking at the icandy and I love it, I just really don't love the price and I know I'll end up changing to a stroller eventually so I don't know that it's worth it, I've also been looking at the silver cross and it's also really nice and mothercare currently has a good deal but just keeping my options open lol x
@abiruth, thank you I definitely will, I've learnt from my last pram lol...as much as I loved it, it was bulky and heavy so I would prefer something lighter now...I definitely want to see them in person and try them out instead of just ordering online xx
